Services we provide
The audiology department:
- provides paediatric diagnostic assessments
- provides adult diagnostic assessments from an ENT specialist or other approved referrer
- monitors hearing in adults who are taking medications that may harm their hearing (ototoxic) and who are referred from an ENT specialist or other approved referrer
- provides diagnostic testing of babies referred from the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening and Early Intervention Programme.
- provides targeted follow up assessments for young children referred from the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening and Early Intervention Programme.
- provides therapy and hearing aids for preschoolers, children and young people up to the age of 18 if in primary, secondary or tertiary education.

You must be referred by your healthcare provider or ENT specialist.
